Swine flu

A PAISLEY man has been identified as the first person in the UK to become critically ill wholly because of swine flu.
The 45-year old is one of two new critical but stable cases being treated in intensive care at the Royal Alexandra hospital.
The other is a 38 year old woman, who has underlying health problems.
As The Extra went to press, there were a total of 65 confirmed swine flu cases in Scotland.
The Scottish government said it expected the number of confirmed cases to increase significantly in the coming
