YOUNG, maybe, but bursting with more talent and passion for music than a several successful mainstream bands at the moment.
That's three-man rock project Majestic Dandelion which has evolved from last year's instrumental jam outfit, Funksion.
Craig Ralston (19), drummer brother Graeme (16) plus with bassist (and neighbour) Liam Kavanagh (19) have actually played together for seven years in various collectives.
Craig, from the Ralston area of Paisley, handles vocals and plays lead guitar with Majestic Dandelion.
With his mop of Robert Plant-esque/ Marc Bolan curly hair, Craig certainly looks the part.
He told Scene: "We're classic rock influenced by people like Led Zeppelin and AC/DC — and we play some acoustic stuff too.
"We play a lot of gigs in Glasgow, pretty much every night, in places like Barrowland 2, Rockers, Liquid Ship and Ivory Black's.
"And we have a regular slot at Box on Friday nights".
Former Paisley Grammar pupil Craig added: "We have a good fan base and at every gig there seem to be a few more people there. In the summer we're hoping to tour about a bit and play in some other towns".
Craig also plays guitar with some other bands, and as well as gigging, the boys have been keeping busy with other endeavours.
Craig told Scene: "We've just recorded a demo EP at Elba Studios in Finnieston. It should be out quite soon and available to buy at gigs".
And what of the longer term? Says Craig personally: "I'm just doing music full time at the moment and I want to continue doing that. Hope I can make a living out of it".
He joked: "It pays for your beers. I might also be getting into
guitar tutoring during the day at some point".
Majestic Dandelion plays Paisley Unplugged at the Haunt bar in the arts centre on Saturday at 3pm. Admission is free.
